The Komoverse team is delighted to announce that Toto Sugiri has been appointed as its Honorary Chairman.
Toto Sugiri is one of Indonesia's earliest and most influential tech entrepreneurs. Toto is the founder and CEO of the largest Data Center company in the country - DCI. He is responsible for the overall business and is the main point of communication with key stakeholders, including investors, partners, customers, and the public.
Educated in Germany, Toto is an accomplished IT veteran who began his career in a software company before founding Sigma in 1989. He also founded Indonesia's first ISP (Internet Service Provider) - Indonet - in 1994, and holds an advisory role for the Indonesia Stock Exchange.
Co-Founder of Komoverse, Dylan Montana, conveyed his excitement with the addition of such an influential and respected figure in Indonesia's technology industry.
"This is an incredible honour for us. Pak Toto is very well known to be a pioneer and has successfully built many startups that have grown to become multi-billion dollar businesses. Some of these companies such as DCI, Indonet, and Sigma were started well ahead of their time and continue to be the benchmarks in their respective industries. With Pak Toto's guidance, it is our hope that we can develop Komoverse into becoming the leading Web3 company not just in Indonesia but globally. Suffice to say that we are ecstatic to have Pak Toto Sugiri fully onboard in our Komoverse family as we embark on this exciting journey together."
As Honorary Chairman, Toto Sugiri will have an active role in guiding Komoverse strategy as well as mentoring the Komoverse founders in the management of the overall business.
